China's Sinopec (NYSE:SNP ) said on Monday it has developed a 1T cm shale gas resource reserve after ramping up production at one of its gas wells, according to Dow Jones.

Sinopec (SNP) said it achieved a shale gas production capacity of 530K cm/day as of June 30 at the Xinye Well-1 in Chongqing, China, which raised total output at its southeastern Sichuan basin to 1.19T cubic meters.

This would be Sinopce's (SNP) second 1T cm shale gas resource reserve after its Fuling shale gas field development.
